COURSE OVERVIEW

More and more of our patients are looking to improve their smile in the most minimally invasive way possible. The Bioclear Method allows you to create predictable repeatable outcomes that look natural when using direct composite. Now the the clinician can offer a compelling non invasive alternative that will meet patients needs and exceed their expectations. Esthetic treatment that can be rendered with the Bioclear matrices and this method include diastema closure, black triangle closure, Class II, III and IV composite restorations.

In this 1 hour session, you will be introduced to the benefits of Bioclear and come away with the basic skills and understanding needed as a precursor to performing the Bioclear Method for patients.

Dr. Taras Konanec
Dr. Taras Konanec

Dr. Taras Konanec graduated in 1997 and is presently co-owner of Drummond Dental Group in downtown Montreal where he practices full-time. Dr. Konanec is passionate about teaching and continuing education. He is presently an assistant professor and course director of the preclinical operative program and in his 24th year lecturing at McGill University Faculty of Dentistry in both the departments of operative dentistry and practice management. He is the 2018 recipient of McGill Faculty's Ralph Silverstone Teaching Award. Dr. Konanec's passions lie in minimally invasive dentistry techniques enhanced by the use of the dental operating microscope in daily practice. He incorporates principles of biomimetic dentistry into his daily practice and teachings. As a member of the Richard V. Tucker study club in Montreal, he is an ardent fan of the use of cast gold in the posterior area, and he still speaks to his patients about its long-term benefits.
