COMPLIANCE OVERVIEW

As dentists, we are no longer just in the “tooth business”. We are also in the information business. We collect and use vast amounts of personal health information about our patients. HIPAA requires us to use it wisely, protect it, safeguard it, and make certain it is available to our patients when and where they need it.

Although many of us have HIPAA compliance manuals gathering dust on shelves in our offices, there are a number of sensible simple steps we should take to immediately boost our awareness and our compliance under the law.

Join us in this enlightening webinar as we explore the most common HIPAA pitfalls faced in the practice of Dentistry, and provide actionable strategies to prevent them. Ensure your practice remains compliant and maintains the trust of your patients.  This webinar qualifies as your yearly required HIPPA update.
